especially for senior horses or horses with e.g. arthritis or tendon problems, or dust-sensitive horses
With passion my husband and I run a small horse farm and we can offer a full care livery for you horse. Please come and see the supreme condition of the horses currently in our charge.
Here are the benefits we can offer for your horse:
- All-year grazing (minimum of six hectares in total) split into four large mud-free(!) pastures.
- An open stable: giving each horse the freedom to go in and out as they please, allowing them plenty of slow, continuous movement throughout the year, (beneficial for their general health).
- A lot of movement, light and fresh air, the alpha and omega in horse husbandry
- Mixed-age herd life in a small group (maximum 8-10 horses) - hence social tasks for each horse. Most natural way for horses. At present we have 6 horses: 4 own and 2 pension).
- Individual care for each horse!
- Best quality feed. The hay is analysed each year to ensure it contains the right balance of nutrition.
- A high level of cleanliness, the horses always have a clean place to lie down
- Fresh water - not out of self-watering small tub(!), but from a large stone fountain to drink properly
- A minimum of 100m2 stable area, with mosquito curtains in the summer - always accessible for the horses.
- Health, safety and protection are our highest priorities.
- We have years of experience and I have an "Equigarde" (with diploma) qualification with the Swiss National Stud.
